Humidity gets reduced at a higher altitude, and thus, air can lead you to a high level of dehydration. Therefore, to overcome this, you must drink a lot of water. When you eat much and drink less at high altitude, then it can lead you to many issues in your digestive system. We all know that moving at high altitudes reduces oxygen, and thus, it can make you tired. Hence, make sure that you must sleep more.

At a higher altitude, there is less atmosphere, and the rays of the sun are very strong. Thus, the filtration of the ultraviolet rays does not happen appropriately. Hence, wearing sunscreen can help you effectively. Buy it with at least SPF 15. The beams are also very harmful to your eyes, so wear goggles or sunglasses as they can help you in a great way.

Protecting eyes from UV rays is the foremost duty of every skier. If you see that there is a cloudy day, then also follow the precautions carefully as you can still get burned.

The less oxygen at high altitudes can not only make you tired but also affects your muscle performance. Thus, take more precautions as it can help you to reduce injury while performing this sport. Do not drink alcoholic drinks, work on your physical ability, and stretch in the morning.  Hence, skiing at high altitudes can be dangerous if you have not taken the precautions seriously or not mentally and physically prepared.
